This page is for a correction to a published U.S. Mortgage Index record. It is not a complaint form and it does not resolve a dispute with a lender or servicer.
What can be requested
- An identity mismatch
- An incorrect official identifier
- An outdated published observation
- An incorrect official URL
- A field that conflicts with an official public source
What cannot be requested
- Removal of a true public-source fact because it is unfavorable
- Paid delisting
- Paid alteration of neutral public data
Evidence
An official source URL and a clear description of the disputed field are the strongest evidence. The source URL is requested. It is not required to submit the form.
Process
A request is received and reviewed against the appropriate official or public source. The public record is updated or left unchanged depending on the evidence.
